This ECG shows an anteiroseptal myocardial infarction with hyperacute T waves and "tombstoning" of the ST segment. The ST elevation extends just a little bit laterally (lead aVL). When an anterior MI is anterior, septal and lateral, it is termed an "Extensive Anterior" infarct.

There is also some ST depression reciprocal to the lateral ST elevation (aVL) in the inferior leads II, III and aVF. Also, some ST depression reciprocal to the ST elevation in V1-V2 can be seen in leads V5-V6. See the Anterior MI Review below for details.
