The ECG shows sinus tachycardia at about 115 beats per minute with a PR interval of about 0.15 sec (normal). The P waves show normal duration, but they are peaked in II, II and AVF and their amplitude in lead II is 3 mm. The frontal plane QRS axis is about +120°. RV1 is larger than SV1 and the RV1 is about 8 mm. There are T inversions in V1-3. The findings are consistent with sinus tachycardia, right atrial abnormality, right axis deviation and right ventricular hypertrophy with “strain.”
