All ECG 37

  1. Normal sinus rhythm
  2. Hypokalemia

The ECG finding of hypokalemia is a "U wave". This is an extra positive deflection after the T wave and before the next P wave as seen in lead II on this ECG. This patient had a potassium level of 2.2. Hypokalemia can also cause flattening of the W wave and ST depression in some individuals.
