VIDEO: National elimination plan heightens focus on HCV at The Liver Meeting
BOSTON — In this video, Tatyana Kushner, MD, MSCE, discusses the “significant focus” at The Liver Meeting on the elimination of hepatitis C virus.
Kushner, associate professor of medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, noted this was likely due to the recent proposal from the Biden administration for a national HCV elimination plan.
“There was more hepatitis C-related content than I recall from prior years, which is exciting and great,” she said.
