VIDEO: Lobby Talks, clinical research workshops at CNS annual meeting help advance careers
In this Healio video, Ariel Maia Lyons-Warren, MD, PhD, shares resources that promoted career advancement at the Child Neurology Society annual meeting in Vancouver.
Lyons-Warren, an instructor of child neurology at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital, highlights that the Lobby Talks reflected what she loves about CNS.
“Everyone who came commented that they were helpful, impactful, and really showed that the Child Neurology Society cares about all of its members, not just providing content and CME, but how we can help advance our members’ careers,” she said.
Lyons-Warren also highlights the clinical research workshops as a helpful resource at the CNS annual meeting.
“It makes me really heartened that child neurologists are interested and engaged in doing research that’s going to move our field forward and now have the tools to do that,” she said.
