Ariel Maia Lyons-Warren, MD, PhD, an instructor of child neurology at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital, discusses what stood out to her at the Child Neurology Society annual meeting in Vancouver.

A “powerful” year in review session brought together experts in all the subspecialties from across the country who reviewed highlights from the past calendar year of advances and important issues to know clinically, as well as in research, Lyons-Warren said.

“It helped me summarize all the important things I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss over the past year, and all of those talks were really well done,” she said.
