In this Healio video, Robert C. Stowe, MD, an instructor of neurology at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, discusses highlights from a session at the Child Neurology Society annual meeting.

The session, presented by Temitayo Oyegbile-Chidi, MD, PhD, FAAN, an associate professor in the department of neurology at University of California, Davis, highlighted how clinicians can improve seizure control in children with nocturnal or sleep-related seizure phenotypes, Stowe said.

The session highlighted the need for clinicians to not only pay attention to the seizures themselves, but also to “what else is going on in life,” Stowe said.
