Topics such as childhood sleep disorders and mitochondrial disorders were emphasized at the meeting, Stowe said.

“There was also a big emphasis this year on trying to improve our perspectives on clinical trials and research ... really trying to emphasize clinical trial endpoints and guidelines,” he said.
