The course will be led by Day and Walter G. Park, MD, FASGE, assistant professor of medicine at Stanford University and Medical Center in California.

We’re incredibly excited about this year’s GO course. Although it will be virtual this year, we intend to have an interactive and dynamic platform for participants. This year’s course will be different from years past in that it weaves together a number of operational concepts for both private and academic GI practices. The course will center on three key themes. First, there will be a focus on practices’ need to adapt and evolve during the era of COVID-19. Second, we will have presentations about financial considerations and changes GI practices should be expecting as well as how to leverage social media platforms for your GI practice. Finally, we will have several discussions on how teams can better use and enhance the electronic medical record as well as explore best practices on staffing and productivity models in GI practices. We believe participants will walk away from this course with a number of new ideas and tangible examples of how to build and grow your practice
