In this exclusive video, Barham Abu Dayyeh, MD, MPH, professor at Mayo Clinic, discussed results from a study that evaluated the incisionless weight loss procedure Pose 2.0 in patients who are obese or have obese-related comorbidities.

Abu Dayyeh said the procedure has been well tolerated by patients, reporting that they do not have significant pain or nausea that may be correlated with the procedure. Additionally, patients have seen about 15% reduction in body weight and USGI Medical — the developer of Pose 2.0 — has received FDA approval to expand the study.
