In this exclusive video, Nancy S. Reau, MD, section chief of hepatology and associate director of organ transplantation at Rush University Medical Center, discussed the impact COVID-19 has had on clinics and patients in the world of hepatology.
She said the clinics have been empty and the hospitals have been very quiet, with patients isolated in rooms. Now more than 2 months into the crisis, she said the challenge has shifted to re-entry and how to continue quality care on virtual platforms.
