VIDEO: Endoscopists report effectiveness of single-use duodenoscope
Regardless of experience level, endoscopists reported successful use of the first single-use duodenoscope for endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, Adam Slivka, MD, PhD, University of Pittsburgh, told Healio Gastroenterology.
“[T]he scopes are ready to move to a more primetime profile in your practices,” Slivka said. “There's lots of different clinical algorithms going around the country as to how to incorporate these into your practice; but certainly, they're here to stay and you should familiarize yourself with them in the future.”
