In this exclusive video, Mark Pochapin, MD, from NYU Langone Health and President of the American College of Gastroenterology, discusses the upcoming ACG Annual Scientific Meeting, which will be going virtual for the first time.

Pochapin said that once it became clear that the meeting would have to be virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ACG staff began working day and night to plan and create a virtual platform for the annual meeting.

Attendees will have a chance to explore the virtual conference hall and create a personal schedule, choosing from lectures, symposia and presentations on the latest data in GI.

“Hopefully, people will gather and get the same type of sense of community that we normally get, in addition to great education,” Pochapin said in the video.

The ACG Virtual Annual Scientific Meeting begins on Monday, Oct. 26, 2020.
