VIDEO: Reopening endoscopy during COVID-19
In this exclusive video, Nadeem Baig, MD, from Allied Digestive Health in New Jersey, talks about adapting an endoscopy practice to reopen during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He told Healio Gastroenterology that the practice abruptly discontinued elective procedures while shifting rapidly to telehealth at the onset of the crisis. He also discussed how visits have changed for patients, including pre-procedure COVID testing and the elimination of waiting rooms.
