VIDEO: During COVID-19 pandemic some conferences are being held virtually

Adam Cheifitz, MD, director of the Center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, discusses how medical education has been impacted by COVID-19. He said many conferences have been altered so they could be done virtually. While it is not the same as in person conferences, he said for the short-term virtual meetings are effective.
