WASHINGTON — In this exclusive video perspective from Digestive Disease Week 2018, Healio Gastroenterology and Liver Disease spoke with David G. Woods, president and CEO of Pentax Medical, about the company’s triple-aim initiative to enhance clinical outcomes, economic outcomes and patient-provider satisfaction.

“At Pentax, we’re very focused on delivering the triple-aim concept by also having the talent in the organization, whether it be for infection control, whether it be service or product utilization, whether it be clinical acumen and being able to support our customers,” Woods told Healio Gastroenterology and Liver Disease.

Additionally, Woods reviews three new products presented at DDW including a camera-containing capsule for short bowel syndrome, a new imaging platform for colonoscopy, and new endoscopic technology for pancreatic and biliary complications.
