LAS VEGAS — In this exclusive video, Edward Loftus, Jr., MD, chief medical editor of Healio Gastroenterology and Liver Disease, provides an overview of the inaugural Crohn’s & Colitis Congress.

“It was a unique format,” he said. “We’re trying to highlight the fact that taking care of IBD patients is truly a multidisciplinary process, so we tried to keep ... different specialists in the same room together for the keynotes and then we would have breakout sessions. We’d also intersperse original research abstracts in between that, and I think this was a nice concept ... reminding us that it takes a village to take care of IBD patients.”
