Fujifilm Medical Systems U.S.A. Inc. - Endoscopy has partnered with Fight Colorectal Cancer to support “One Million Strong,” a national movement that raises awareness of more than one million colorectal cancer survivors living in the United States, according to a press release.

During Colon Cancer Awareness Month in March, Fujifilm will sponsor Fight Colorectal Cancer’s sixth annual ‘One Million Strong’ campaign and awareness efforts, including a kick-off event in Los Angeles on March 8, 2018, according to the release. Fujifilm will also participate in a NASDAQ bell ringing ceremony in New York City on February 28, 2018, per the release. Fujifilm’s dedication to this movement emphasizes their commitment to better promote early detection of colon cancer.

“We are extremely grateful to have the support of Fujifilm toward our One Million Strong campaign in 2018,” Anjee Davis, president of Fight Colorectal Cancer, said in the release. “This movement is all about empowering survivors to have courage — the courage to share their stories, raise their voices and educate their family members and friends about screening. Fujifilm’s support will help us reach even more people through this year’s campaign.”
