VIDEO: ACG plans to continue focus on MOC, MIPS, quality of services
ORLANDO — In this exclusive video from the World Congress of Gastroenterology at ACG 2017, ACG President-Elect Irving M. Pike, MD, FACG, senior vice president and chief medical office for John Muir Health, discusses his vision for the College in the upcoming year.
“My vision for where we’re going this year from now until next October will be to continue the focus of my predecessor Dr. Burke, focusing on a reasonable methodology for maintenance of certification,” he said. In addition, Pike said continuing to focus on Merit-based Incentives Payment System (MIPS) and improving quality of services with GIQuIC are also important.
