FDA Approves Polyethylene Glycol 3350 Powder for Oral Solution to Treat Occasional Constipation

ANI Pharmaceuticals announced the FDA has approved its abbreviated new drug application for polyethylene glycol 3350 powder for oral solution, 17 mg/scoopful, for the treatment of occasional constipation.

“We are pleased to have received FDA approval of our [abbreviated new drug application] for polyethylene glycol 3350 powder for oral solution, bringing our total internal and partnered [abbreviated new drug application] approvals for 2015 to three,” Arthur S. Przybyl, president and CEO of ANI Pharmaceuticals, said in a press release.

IMS Health reports the product’s trailing 12-month sales are $13.5 million, according to the press release.
