The CDC announced a Salmonella outbreak that has spread to 25 states and left 162 people sick and 54 hospitalized was likely caused by recalled cucumbers.

The FDA and Fresh State Produce Sales Inc. recalled cucumbers in 14 states, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
