I love my job and helping patients at various stages in their lives. It is the most wonderful career that I can think of because I have a strong history of breast cancer and ovarian cancer in my family.

The opportunity to help women through surgery and oncology, through health literacy and education and initiatives in wellness is so fulfilling to me. It’s a great opportunity to marry all of my interests.

The mind, body and spirit are connected. I get to help women understand every day how diseases impact not only one aspect of their bodies but how it impacts their whole life. Osteopathic philosophy is so integral to my profession, and I find myself using it every day.

I am passionate about addressing the disparities in health outcomes for marginalized people. I just have a philosophy that everyone has a gift. We can all use what we have, right where we are, to leave this world better than we found it. Let’s set a new paradigm.
