Building confidence: Experts help you answer more common questions about COVID-19 vaccines
Healio has added three new topics to its Building Confidence: A COVID-19 Vaccine Discussion Guide.
The additions address concerns related to blood clots, breakthrough infections and receiving a vaccine after a natural SARS-CoV-2 infection.

The guide is a resource that clinicians can use during conversations with patients who are hesitant to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
“When it comes to vaccine hesitancy, physicians are the difference-makers because their patients trust them,” Joan-Marie Stiglich, ELS, chief content officer of Healio, said in a press release. “Our hope is that clinicians can use this as a tool to build confidence in their patients that COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective.”

Seven experts in infectious disease, infectious disease pharmacy, pediatrics and obstetrics/gynecology collaborated to craft accurate, easy-to-understand responses to patients’ common questions and concerns.
Their latest responses expand on information provided in the first edition of the guide, which discussed active and inactive ingredients of COVID-19 vaccines that are approved in the U.S.
