Margot L. Savoy, MD, MPH, FAAFP, is senior vice president for education at the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is also an associate professor of family and community medicine as well as urban bioethics and population health at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, as well as adjunct associate professor at Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry, Temple University.
She is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health, and a former American Academy of Family Physicians Vaccine Science Fellow and Office of the National Coordinator Health IT Fellow.
“My research interests include shared decision-making in primary care, leveraging health information technology to improve primary care delivery, addressing health disparities, and using health policy to integrate primary care and public health,” Savoy said.
