VIDEO: Johnson & Johnson launches Vision Made Possible campaign

LAS VEGAS — A new Johnson & Johnson Vision campaign is promoting the importance of eye health by sharing real-life stories of patients, Carla Calizaire, the company’s vice president of sales for North American vision care, told Healio.

“Over 2 billion people across the globe have visual impairments, and about a billion of those are preventable,” Calizaire said at Vision Expo West. “With this brand new campaign, we are really trying to raise awareness and education around the importance of a comprehensive eye exam.”

In partnership with photographer Kate T. Parker, Johnson & Johnson will spread awareness about the importance of eye care by telling stories of people who have sought treatment for visual impairment and how their lives improved as a result.
