DENVER — In this Healio video, Jessica Ailani, MD, explains that patient selection for clinical trials is not a one-size-fits-all process.

“We really honed into all of the different issues when it comes to what types of patients are selected in clinical trials, from our older treatments to our newer targeted-treatments, and how it’s really difficult to compare clinical trials from trial to trial,” Ailani, clinical professor of neurology and director of the MedStar Georgetown Headache Center in Washington, D.C., said at the American Headache Society annual scientific meeting.
