An evidence-based AI platform aims to transform cancer care by providing comprehensive solutions for oncology patient management.
Cancer Insights strives to offer products that help clinical teams reduce administrative burdens and streamline workflows at each step of the cancer journey, from referral through survivorship.
The company currently offers five products that are commercially available and used by health system partners, according to Tarun Kumar, CEO of Cancer Insights.
Cancer Insights participated in the inaugural cohort of the CancerX Accelerator, hosted by Moffitt Cancer Center and launched in collaboration with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health.
The 16 startups in the cohort collaborated with accelerator champions, mentors, federal partners and CancerX members throughout the health care system to test and validate innovative solutions intended to improve the lives of people with cancer.
“When we heard about the CancerX application process, we were at the stage where we had a couple deployments at large health systems, and we wanted to figure out how to grow quickly and understand what health systems needed,” Kumar told Healio.
Participation in the cohort provided the Cancer Insights team with “an inside-out view” of how health systems function and make decisions, Kumar added.
Healio has been selected as the official media partner of the 2025 CancerX Accelerator cohort.
In this video, Kumar shares more insights into his company’s mission, how participation in the CancerX Accelerator benefitted his company, and his advice to members of this year’s cohort.
