Chandrajit Raut, MD, MS, talked about a video session at the Connective Tissue Oncology Society Annual Meeting on approaching oncologic surgery for sarcoma specialists.

The session featured videos submitted by experts on decision-making, artificial intelligence technology, computer-generated imaging, 3D imaging for operation planning, center-specific techniques and more, according to Raut, chief of surgical oncology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, surgical director of the Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center sarcoma and bone oncology programs, and professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School.

“There was a lot of back and forth — it was a very interactive session,” Raut said. “It was a great exchange. Having seen that, I think there’ll be a lot more abstracts submitted with videos in the future.”
