Charu Aggarwal, MD, MPH, spoke with Healio about a presentation she gave at this year’s Chemotherapy Foundation Symposium.
Aggarwal, Leslye M. Heisler assistant professor for lung cancer excellence at University of Pennsylvania Abramson Cancer Center, highlighted ways she and her team have incorporated liquid biopsy testing earlier into the continuum of care for non-small cell lung cancer patients.
“Without testing and without finding these patients, we cannot deliver personalized therapy and precision medicine,” she said.
