CHICAGO — In this video, Christopher Warren, PhD, discusses the goal of the workshops hosted throughout the Global Food Allergy Prevention Summit.
“We are convening each day to try to understand what is the current evidence that supports all of these different possible modalities for food allergy prevention, come to consensus on the nature of that evidence, and come up with specific tangible recommendations for priority research to advance food allergy prevention at regional, national and global scales,” Warren, director of population research at the Center for Food Allergy & Asthma Research, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, said in the video.
According to Warren, the conclusions drawn from the workshops are intended to be published in the coming months.
“We anticipate a lot of great collaboration moving forward throughout this meeting and then well beyond it into the future to try to make things better for families with food allergies,” he said.
