This will bring you to a page where you will create a customized test specific to
your individual needs.
On the Create Test

four areas that will define your test parameters. Those four areas are:

where you will choose between Timed and Tutor Mode

the sequence of your test
- Test

Taking your test
If you
chose the Timed Mode a countdown clock based upon the amount of time selected per question (with 60 seconds as the default)
will be displayed as soon as the test has been created. Once the time runs out, you will receive a notification that you are out of time, but you will be allowed to continue on with the test. The Tutor Mode
places no time factor on the testing page.
Within the test you will find an Explanation link available on each question page to guide you through the
correct answers.
The user will find
two to three additional buttons, depending upon the mode, on the bottom of the test page:
-
Review will
open a pop-up page displaying all questions asked within the test with navigation available
allowing the user to return to those questions
- Pause
will pause the timed test in progress allowing you to step away from the screen without losing time in the test
- Next
will take you to the next question in the test (or to the Test History page if that is the last question) once you have answered the current question
Test History
At the end of each test, you will be directed to the Test History page. You will also be able to access this page at any time via the left naviagation within the question bank. The Test History
page holds a chart containing the following information:
- Each test that has been created has been assigned a specific consecutive
number
- The date that you began each test
- Your
score for each test is given as the number correct over the number of questions
- A status message of completed or in progress is displayed
- A link to either continue an in progress test or review a completed test
Explanation – Review
When you select review, you will have a pop up page display each question on that test with either an red x showing an incorrect answer or a green check mark showing a correct answer. Upon clicking on the test question, you will be taken to the item review page, where you will find:
- The test question, with your answer selected, and if applicable, the correct answer marked
- An explanation of the question
- A link to a current CME activity on the topic, if available
At the bottom of each question, you will find a next button to continue through the test to review each question.
