Reumofan Plus tablets purchased through the Pain Free by Nature website are being recalled after the FDA discovered the product’s packaging that did not reveal methocarbamol and diclofenac as active ingredients, which made it an unapproved drug.

Product use could result in serious and life-threatening injuries, according to an FDA MedWatch safety alert. Pain Free by Nature has terminated distribution of Reumofan Plus, which is used for treating conditions including muscle pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, and bone cancer, the news release stated.

The recalled product comes in 30-tablet containers packaged in a green and gold box.

The FDA has advised consumers who are taking or recently stopped taking Reumofan Plus to immediately consult a health care professional. Additional information is available on the MedWatch safety alert.
