Think Surgical Inc. has announced FDA 510(k) clearance for its TMINI miniature robotic total knee replacement system, according to a company press release.
The TMINI system includes a wireless handpiece to aid surgeons in locating bone pins and ensuring accurate bone resection. The platform also features an open implant library. According to the release, the TMINI robotic handpiece was designed in collaboration with Sagentia Innovation.
“With its small footprint, open implant platform and intuitive workflow, the TMINI system opens up robotic possibilities for more clinics, operating rooms and surgeons,” Stuart Simpson, president and CEO of Think Surgical, said in the release.
