KOLOA, Hawaii — In this video from Orthopedics Today Hawaii, Christopher L. Peters, MD, spoke about patient engagement platforms in total joint replacement practices.
“The bottom line for us is it has probably been the biggest thing we have seen increase patient satisfaction with our hip and knee patients over the last several years,” he said.
He said the newer patient engagement platforms allow “just-in-time” information to be delivered to patients.
“Even though we tend to do pretty much the same operation that we did 5 years ago, this new technology of patient engagement platforms has changed the game for patient satisfaction,” Peters said.
