KOLOA, Hawaii — In this video from Orthopedics Today Hawaii, Aaron J. Krych, MD, spoke about the classification of meniscal tears and the ability of native cartilage to repair.

“Overall, we concluded we are getting better at the classification [of meniscal tears],” he said. “[There is] still some controversy on which ones to repair [and] which ones really don’t have a chance to heal, but I think we’re recognizing the importance of alignment [and] patient factors that go into the decision-making,” Krych said.
