Arthrex launches minimally invasive bunionectomy system
Arthrex has announced the launch of the Arthrex bunionectomy system, a minimally invasive surgical alternative to traditional bunion correction, according to a company press release.
The minimally invasive bunionectomy system allows surgeons to achieve complete bunion correction with smaller incisions, decreased pain and swelling, and more rapid recovery compared with traditional open procedures, according to the release.
Arthrex also announced the launch of two websites for patients and clinicians: BunionPain.com, which educates patients on the procedure and connects them with a surgeon, and Bunionectomy.arthrex.com, which connects clinicians with an Arthrex technology consultant or medical education representative, according to the release.
