VIDEO: Physician provides steps to begin fitting scleral lenses
DENVER – Susan Gromacki, OD, presented a lecture at this year’s Optometry’s Meeting as an introductory course to starting a scleral lens practice and fitting procedures.
“We’re going to talk about how to garner referrals, which tests need to be done and the basics on how to fit and troubleshoot scleral lenses,” Gromacki told Healio.
She added that offering scleral lenses is particularly useful for patients with keratoconus.
