VIDEO: Aging patient population shows need for optimized eye care comanagement
Roberto “Bobby” Saenz, OD, MS, FAAO, provides an overview of his SECO presentation that focuses on “cutting edge” comanagement, including refractive, cataract and keratoconus needs.
“Patients are getting wiser and wiser in age,” he said, and there has been an increase in cataract surgery, an increase in refractive surgery – partly due to mask-related fogging – and now an FDA-approved option for keratoconus.
