LAS VEGAS – Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Inc. has launched an educational resource on hygiene with contact lenses and a website for eye care professionals.

The educational handout, Healthy Vision & Contact Lenses, can be used in-office, on website and via social media. It offers information for contact lens wearers to better understand how to safely wear and care for contacts, including “Do’s and Don’ts” for proper care and steps to reduce the risk of contact lens-related infection.

The resource is available as a downloadable PDF that is customizable to include practitioner contact information can be viewed at www.ACUVUEProfessional.com/HVCL. The print version includes 50 tear-sheets on a pad and can be requested by sending your name and address to healthyvision@its.jnj.com.

The company also launched a website, www.ACUVUEprofessional.com, for eye care professionals to be used on desktops, tablets and mobile devices. It features a contact lens finder that includes all Acuvue brand contact lenses, along with products from other manufacturers. This tool can help doctors find the right contact lens for patients by searching different lens parameters, manufacturers, modalities and materials.

The website includes patient instructional videos, detailed product information on Acuvue brands, articles offering advice and a “Find a Doctor” online map.
