VIDEO: Pupil size an important parameter in phakic IOL sizing
ATHENS, Greece — In this Healio Video Perspective from the ESCRS winter meeting, Pavel Stodulka, MD, PhD, speaks about the role of pupil size on phakic IOL vault.
“From the data, it is obvious that the bigger the pupil size, the bigger the vault,” he said. “So, if you have a patient with a really small pupil, it looks like the iris pushes the phakic IOL down toward the crystalline lens.”
