SAN FRANCISCO — In this Healio Video Perspective from the AAO meeting, Mitchell A. Jackson, MD, discusses the laser scleral microporation device with real-time OCT imaging.

“We actually get really on-live, on-tissue depth measurements to make sure we’re hitting the proper depth of penetration in the sclera to treat presbyopia,” he said.

According to Jackson, clinical trials in the United States for the VisioLite ophthalmic laser system (Ace Vision Group) will begin in 2024.
