VIDEO: Study assessing patient expectations before, after cataract surgery
KOLOA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective at Hawaiian Eye 2023, Kendall E. Donaldson, MD, MS, explains how she gives patients a survey before and after their cataract surgery procedure to address their expectations.
“We have been looking at things like the willingness to accept some degree of glare and halos to allow them to have more range of vision,” Donaldson said. “I really feel that it’s important to measure the patient’s ability to compromise.”
