CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Results from the Wake Up America poll showed that practitioners do not often ask patients about insomnia, and patients may be hesitant to discuss it, Andrew Krystal, MD, MS, said at the SLEEP meeting.

“The most important thing we got out of this survey was a great fundamental foundation upon which to be able to develop new surveys and identify the important questions we need to ask to help us optimally understand the process by which people seek care and get treated and figure out ways to improve that process,” he said.
