DENVER – Treatment with histone deacetylase 6 inhibitor restored neurol complexities and decreased migraine symptoms, Amynah Pradhan, PhD, said at the American Headache Society’s annual scientific meeting.

“We thought that if we could encourage that acetylated state, where [microtubules] are more flexible, maybe we would restore the neurol complexities in these migraine models, and then correspondingly see an anti-migraine effect,” Pradhan, an associate professor of psychology at The University of Illinois at Chicago, said.
