VIDEO: Sleep abnormalities potentially linked to neurological conditions

SEATTLE — Abnormalities during sleep may be associated with neurological conditions, Alberto Ramos, MD, a sleep disorder specialist at the University of Miami, said at the 2022 American Academy of Neurology annual meeting.

“We have a course that evaluates how parasomnia or abnormal behaviors during sleep are associated with different conditions that are problematic, not only for neurologists but also important for conditions that are not neurological,” Ramos said.
