“I am so honored and humbled to have been selected as the 2024 Woman in Allergy by the ACAAI,” Aquino told Healio. “I am so grateful that my career has been strengthened by many female allergy mentors and I hope to provide the same mentorship to others.”

Aquino is an allergist and immunologist in the department of pediatrics and the division of allergy and immunology at Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

She is also professor of pediatrics and director of the allergy and immunology fellowship program at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, and a past member of the ACAAI board of regents.
