Sonex Health has announced the full U.S. commercial launch of the UltraGuideTFR, an ultrasound-guided device for use in trigger finger release procedures, according to a press release.

The UltraGuideTFR device allows surgeons to view anatomy prior to incision, resulting in smaller incisions and a more minimally invasive surgery for patients undergoing trigger finger release.

“The full launch of UltraGuideTFR enables us to offer more clinicians safe and effective ways to treat common painful upper extremity conditions using minimally invasive techniques,” Bob Paulson, CEO of Sonex Health, said in the release. “Our devices, UltraGuideTFR and UltraGuideCTR to treat carpal tunnel syndrome, both harness the power of ultrasound, and were designed to deliver patient and clinician satisfaction by reducing invasiveness, cost and recovery time,” Paulson added.
