AAOS names McLaurin member of the board of directors
The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons announced Toni M. McLaurin, MD, FAAOS, professor in the department of orthopedic surgery at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, as a member-at-large of its board of directors.
She serves as associate director of orthopedic surgery and chief of orthopedic service at Bellevue Hospital Center. McLaurin is an active member of the J Robert Gladden Orthopedic Society, AO Trauma North America and the Orthopedic Trauma Association. She previously served as a member-at-large on the AAOS Diversity Advisory Board.

McLaurin is the director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for NYU Langone Orthopedics and teaches reconstructive treatment procedures to orthopedic residents with a focus on the management of acute and reconstructive trauma. She specializes in orthopedic trauma. Her interests include musculoskeletal infections and reconstructive orthopedic trauma, especially posttraumatic deformity correction.
