Stryker reported increased net sales and organic net sales in its fourth-quarter and year-end 2021 financial results, according to a press release.

The company reported net sales of $4.7 billion for the fourth quarter of 2020, a 10.3% increase from the prior year period and a 13.8% increase from the fourth quarter of 2019. The company also reported a 9% increase in organic net sales from the prior year period, a reported operating income margin of 17.4% and a reported earnings per share (EPS) of $1.73. Additionally, Styker made $17.1 billion in total net sales for 2020, a 19.2% increase from 2020 and a 14.9% increase from 2019, according to the release.

“We delivered a strong year of financial results, despite the ongoing challenges of the pandemic,” Kevin Lobo, chair and CEO of Stryker, said in the release. “Organic sales growth of over 7% [vs.] 2019, coupled with double-digit adjusted [EPS] growth and excellent cash flow performance were all noteworthy achievements, as was the excellent integration of Wright Medical. We continue to be well-positioned for future growth,” Lobo added.
