In this video from the North American Spine Society Annual Meeting, Carlton Weatherby, vice president and general manager of spine and biologics at Medtronic, speaks on innovation in minimally invasive spine surgery.

Weatherby detailed Medtronic’s integration of spinal implants, biologics, navigation, robotics and artificial intelligence-powered data into spine surgery practice.

“With visualization through navigation, with automation through robotics or clinical decision support through data, analytics and artificial intelligence, we strongly believe that we are positioning ourselves and our partners to improve the outcomes of their patients and increase confidence, knowing that when they go in to get a spine procedure performed, they will likely get better sooner and stay better longer,” Weatherby said.
